I have just bought a v70 and notice both the rear windows only retract half way. The operating mechanisms operate in a very positive way as though this is a design feature or am I overlooking something. The owners manual is not very helpful in this regard.

 

If I remember right my 01 V70 only went a bit more than half way since new.
