Hi, first post so hope I am in right place. I have been advised my V70 X Reg 2.4 auto, 140k on clock, requires O/S/F Wishbne Front bushes due to excess play which would also require the tracking to be done after as it is causing tyre wear on edges. Advised it is not possible to get bushes and must fit complete arm which seems expensive at £150.00.
Can anyone advise if bushes can be sourced separate or is it necessary to fit complete arm please. I have been told it is also safety issue.

you can replace just the bushings, but you need a press to push them in.

So buying the bushings and paying a shop to press them for you, is about the same price as buying the whole arm.

Most people just buy the whole arm, do some price checking on the web
