Is anyone else experiencing bugs with the XC40 computer system? I've had my car about six weeks and the voice command system periodically goes out, I've had issues with volume controls not working intermittently and today the trunk won't open no matter what I do. I haven't managed to get any help from Volvo on Call or find any answers online about these intermittently occurring issues. I assume I can't be the only one.

 

They are not bugs. They are programming faults. Let's let the responsibility lie where it is.

 

I've only had my XC40 one day and I've had many computer issues. For example, the time was off by one hour today. In order to fix it I had to deselect and then reselect my time zone. It also failed to connect to the internet and I had to go through the entire registration process again. It just seems to forget some settings. There are a few other issues as well, one with the radio favorites that required me to reset my profile, but I won't bother listing them all. I'll give it a few more days, but I may just need to reset the computer, which means going to the dealer - ugh!

 

You guys, and too many others are making me wonder if I really want an XC40. According to what state you're in, you may want to start going in for fixes, or attempts.to start laying ground work for a Lemon Law return.

 

Lemon Law? For the time being off by an hour and being a pain in the butt to fix? Really?
