2010 XC60 T6 - Intercooler Removal Help
Hey everyone,
I'm replacing the intercooler on my 2010 XC60 T6 and I'm stuck at what seems like the last step. Hoping someone here has dealt with this before and can provide some guidance.
What I've done so far:
I'm hesitant to use too much force or pry with metal tools because I don't want to puncture the AC condenser or radiator.
My questions:
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I'm replacing the intercooler on my 2010 XC60 T6 and I'm stuck at what seems like the last step. Hoping someone here has dealt with this before and can provide some guidance.
What I've done so far:
- Radiator mount bracket is dropped
- Both intake hoses are disconnected
- Bottom of the intercooler is free
- I can pull the bottom of the intercooler forward about 2 inches, but that's it
I'm hesitant to use too much force or pry with metal tools because I don't want to puncture the AC condenser or radiator.
My questions:
- Do these top clips squeeze/push inward, or do they slide in a certain direction?
- Does the intercooler need to be lifted up or pushed down while pulling forward?
- Is there a specific technique or sequence I'm missing?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
