Hello! I am new here.

I have a 2012 CX60 with about 98K miles. I have these two intermitent / confusing / conflicting issues related to enetering the car and getting it started.

1. When approaching the car to unlock it, it is a 50/50 deal whether pressing my thumb on the door handle will unlock the car. However, pressing the unlock button on the key fob always seems to work.

2. However, when starting the car, it is the opposite issue. It is a 50 / 50 situation as to whether the car will start with the key fob in my pocket. If it does not start, holding the key fob directly next to the start button always seems to work.

3. I have replace the key fob batteries multiple times. No difference.

Does anyone have any ideas? I sure dont want to approach the Volvo dealer with an intermittent electrical issue!
