Default 2015 Turbo intercooler / supercharger Oil seeping at intercooler tube ?

Just purchased a 2015.5 T6 R design 67k miles. I just got back from the shop and they found a small amount of oil from intercooler tubes. Anyone else experience this? They said it was not a problem but to just look out for any future problems like performance or white smoke. Can you point me to some threads or terms to search? Could this just have been an oil change that they spilled from the filter remove and it just collected on the tube?

I'd start by cleaning the entire area as best you can to see if you can find a source. you're talking about oil on the exterior of the tubing right? Could be something above it like rear cam seals, or it could be someone spilled oil during an oil change/service. Also whenever these engines turn into bleeders, its also a good idea to test the PCV system for positive crank case pressure. Google/Youtube for doing a "rubber glove" test as a quick check.

Yes, I sprayed all with brake cleaner. I did check the cam seals and they are dry. I did the rubber glove test and I am glad I was holding onto the glove tightly as the pull was amazing.
