My 2016 xc60 recently has this problem with radio turning on for about 5 seconds turns off for 20 seconds and then comes back on repeatedly. I tried doing a system reset, disconnected the battery for an hour, locked and unlocked the doors 3 times as suggested by On Call support. None of these corrected the issue.

Anyone have a similar situation?

 

do you have any phones paired to the radio? I'm wondering if its not really shutting off fully and detecting a bluetooth signal and then tries to reboot. Maybe you could unpair the phones or disable the bluetooth to see if that changes anything.
