2019 XC60 Tailgate Issue
Greetings!
I have a 2019 XC60 with just under 70K miles and just recently, I have been unable to open the tailgate. The internal tail gate button, external button on the tailgate, or the key fob are all ineffective.
has anyone else seen this issue, and if so, can I fix it myself?
thank you!

Picked up my 2022 xc60 recharge extended a few weeks ago. Mine has the foot activated tailgate sensor. So my guess is that cars that were delivered a few months ago might be missing it due to the chip shortage.
Funny enough, I don't like the foot activation. My garage is small, when parked inside, I was walking behind my car and I accidentally triggered the tailgate with my feet. Had I not been quick to catch it with my hand, it would have hit into my garage door. I'm looking for a way to disable the foot activation somehow...

Same issue with a horrible whole in a rear bumper
I just picked my car yesterday and while checking noticed that it doesn’t have the option, even though it was in the list of options.
asked the dealer and said that yes it will be installed later. Volvo will contact you!
came home, and while walking around the car and trying to see what’s underneath it, got surprised with this biiig whole under the bumper! It seems thay have cut part of the bumper where a sensor should be or something!
