have you guys ever bought reconditioned rims? i've heard they are just like new but wonder if anyone has bought them...
i'm thinking of jumping up to the 20 inch rims...there's a lot more tire options and better prices.
i love these:

it shows only 2018 but i'm pretty sure they fit all XC60's.

last rims I bought via hubcaphaven.com Reconditioned rims are a good option too - check out wheelcollision.com These types of shops basically take factory rims, fix any flaws then respray/clear coat back to a new finish. As to the question on tire pressure, I think it really depends on where you live and the quality of the roads. Here in New England, I run 3 PSI higher than the card recommendations as a way of protecting the rims from pot holes and avoiding pinched side wall flats.

XC60 (2022) Tire Pressure

The placard on the door pillar shows 35PSI. Each time I visit dealer for service they increase PSI to 40.
Anyone know why ?
TIA

I've noticed that dealers from any make I've owned usually over inflate my tires when I'm in for service. I just think they aren't very careful with checking pressures. I just had the tires on my wife's Jeep rotated at the dealer. They go front to back, and the fronts are 3 psi higher than the rears on the door placard. They never checked, and the rears were 3 psi higher than the fronts. Years ago I purchased a compressor so I could monitor and adjust my own tires. I also keep a few extra pounds in my tires for safety, and I think the ride is smoother too. They always wear evenly, so I keep doing it that way.
