Default Engine reprogramming every 2,000 miles? 2020

Hi,

I am considering purchasing a 2020 XC60 T8. The vehicle has under 20,000 miles. The vehicle was turned in after leasing. The carfax shows that the engine was reprogrammed a total of 5 times about every 2,000 to 3,000 miles. I read that the XC60 has had software issues. Is this amount of reprogramming normal or should I avoid this particular vehicle?

Thank you in advance

Here are my thoughts...First, I don't understand what is meant by reprogramming? Does this just mean the software was updated? We have a 2021 (Sensus) and have not had any software issues. There are quite a few software issues for models with AAOS, but that would not be for a 2020 model. I would find out what reprogramming means, but I would not hesitate buying this model year car.
