Default Is the 2022 Recharge fun to drive?

Looking at ordering.. im coming from an Alfa Romeo stelvio, which is 4000 lbs ( so 700lbs lighter than the xc60) and has good acceleration, handling( 0 to 60 in 5.4), and driving dynamics...

is the recharge comparable?

I test drove a b6 and t5.. thought they were a bit cumbersome diving into curves.

i guess I’m looking for a practical family (of 4) friendly SUV, with emphasis on the “sport” b/c I like to drive.

You should drive one and see what you think. Also try one with and without the air suspension. I've only driven the re-charge with air suspension (what we bought), and I suspect it may not drive quite as nicely as the B6 / T5 given its additional weight (electric motor and all). To me, the driving dynamics of the recharge with air suspension are pretty decent, but that wasn't my wife's primary consideration (comfort was). It certainly drives better than her old Lexus RX did which floated like a big boat around curves. If you really want a comparably sized SUV that is fun to drive, you definitely should check out the Jaguar F-Pace which ended up second on our list after the test drive. FWIW, it was first on MY list, but it was my wife's choice to make. Of course I hear reliability of all Jaguars is pretty poor, not that Volvo has a stellar reputation for that.

New to this forum, but had a 2021 XC60 T6 Inscription. Put down a deposit on a R Design T8 Recharge Extended with air suspension and Bowers, etc. and hoping the available 455 power is night and day compared to the non-hybrid T6. I've combed YouTube and some decent videos on the extended version, but no one is reviewing or talking about the acceleration or the 500+ torque. So, what is it like? Anyone? Is the Bowers & Wilkins nice?
