Just brought home 2022 XC60 Inscription for my wife. Was setting up various configuration options and is is possible a 59K car does dot have a balance and fader for the stereo? Or am I jus missing something?

 

I believe I read on another Volvo forum that the 2022s originally had the balance and fader controls and then Volvo removed them from one of the software updates. There have been lots of complaints about this.

 

I hadn't noticed these were controls were missing, but the sound quality is pretty decent.
Speaking of things it doesn't have for the price... adaptive cruise control w/ radar... even 2017 Corolla LEs had that feature!

 

My Inscription has adaptive cruise control. What does the "w/radar" do?

 

It’s the same as the Pilot feature add-on Volvo offers.. let’s you set the following distance to the vehicle in front of you. My B5 Momentum doesn’t have it unfortunately.

 

I rarely use cruise control, but my husband does and he likes the additional features in the new Volvo.

 

Both my 2019 and my 2021 Momentum T6 have adaptive cruise control. I use cruise control almost every time I drive the car. I have owned 12 cars over the past 43 years and they all have had cruise control.
