I just clicked into my Software Updates and says my software is up to date but it’s still on 2.0. Is there a way to force update to 2.2??

 

This is my exact problem as well (stuck on 2.0). Do we have to schedule service to update? Not thrilled to have to wait 3-4 weeks to get in...

 

FYI -- per my dealer, XC60 B5's will have to have 2.2 installed at the dealer, not OTA (allegedly).

 

OTA upgrade was done on my B5 (Switzerland) and no issue

 

How does one check if an update is available ? This lack of a detailed manual is a royal pain

 

The best way to check/install is to swipe down from the top of the display. If there’s an update it will display there and if you touch it will ask if you want to install.

 

I haven’t tried that way.

if that doesn’t work, go to settings (gear icon), system, then software updates.

 

Downloaded the software update with CarPlay. it is clunky, and there are some bugs.

 

So FINALLY I brought in my 2022 XC60 Recharge in. They had to do a software update manually because OTA was not working. Latest software has WIRED Apple CarPlay ONLY. BUT I am so overjoyed to get CarPlay I don’t care. Some of the wireless modules you can buy like PAIRR work well if you want wireless. The latest software update also fixes some laggy issues in the Google/Volvo interface too.

 

as far as I know, no one has gotten any wireless CarPlay adapters to work with the AAOS CarPlay just released.
