2023 XC60- Air Suspension - 4C Adaptive Dampers
Hello,
I am looking at 2023 T6 XC60 that does not have air suspension and I have a few questions?
Is Air Suspension and 4C Adaptive Dampeners referring to the same thing? If not are the 4C dampers only available with the air suspension package?
How much does the air suspension package affect the way the car handles around curvy mountain roads? We have 2020 T6 with Air Suspension and it handles really well. I really like how it drives. That being said 95% of my driving is on city roads and I do no off-road driving. I do go the mountains several times a year and the roads are single lane curvy roads? I would appreciate any input on the air suspension feature. Also one other factor is I think I can get this car for a pretty decent price.
Thanks for any input.

4C are normal shocks, electronically adjustable. Don't know when they stopped using them - but maybe they were in the 2001-2007 cars? (R cars seem to have them and were an option in other cars)
I owned a 2020 xc60 with air suspension. Now have a 2023 xc60 without, with normal springs.
I prefer the ride with normal springs - yes my wife misses being able to lower the car after putting in park making it easier to exit the car (for short people)
