2025 XC60 Stop Start
Took that vehicle for a test drive, really liked it. Sales person said there was NO shut off for the start stop function. He must be correct about that, isn't he? Why would Volvo NOT have that? I think it's a deal killer for me. Thanks in advance for any info.
actually i have this car for 2 weeks. my friend (owning a mb) told me if i have start/stop the first thing i should turn it off, but... there is no much of a feeling of a start stop system here. this is so seamless that i actually cant tell if there is a start-stop system or not.

I have a 2020 V90 T6 estate wagon. From what I am aware, the model years of 2019 and 2020 allowed the driver to permanently shut off the stop/start function. I actually keep it on for most of the time, with the exception when I'm in a stop & go highway traffic jam. I'm ok with how my car's stop/start works. With this said, you 2025 model has a newer stop/start system which is almost seamless, although it cannot be permanently shut off like mine. Give it time and you'll forget that your car has this system.
