Default Where to buy TPMS sensors for 2022 XC60?

I am buying rims and snow tires for my new XC60, but I cannot locate TPMS sensors for the 2022 XC60 anywhere.

Will sensors for the 2021 be compatible? Anyone 100% sure?

Steve

2022 XC60 does not use TPMS Sensors. It uses the rotational difference between the wheels to detect low pressure in a tire.

Please Read the Tire Pressure Monitoring System section in your Owners Manual

System description

The tire pressure monitoring system measures differences in rotational speed between the wheels through the ABS system to determine if the tires are properly inflated. If inflation pressure in a tire is too low, its diameter (and consequently its rotational speed) changes. By comparing the tires with each other, the system can determine if the pressure in one or more tires is too low.

+1. Easy way to know if you have in wheel sensors is to look at the valve stems. If you have rubber valve stems, your car uses the ABS wheel sensors to calculate as noted by 981KMAN. If you have metal valve stems then that's the sign you have an in wheel sensor that sends an RF signal to a receiver unit. Volvo went away from in-wheel sensors in favor of the ABS design in about 2015.

Rubber stems don't always mean there is no sensor. Volvo has had sensors with rubber stems for years now.

But as mentioned, there are no sensors for your car.
