Am I missing out? 2019 T5 No advanced package
Just picked up a 2019 T5 Inscription a week ago. Its beautiful however I am just realizing I only have a camera in the rear thus no 360 view. Also no Adaptive Cruise control option thus the buttons on left side of wheel are a waste.
For those of you that have these features do you use often? Thinking I made a mistake.

I have a 2018 T5 and I have to say I think you are missing out.
The 360 camera is awesome because I park perfectly every time. And you're missing out on the HUD right? I'd buy it for the HUD alone.
And I'd also buy it for ACC alone. That and the pilot assist (lane centering). You're driving completely different cars at this point. Do you have the driving mode wheel or no?

I guess it depends what kind of driving you do, but I do not have the Advanced package on my T5 momentum and I do not feel like I am missing out all that much.
The HUD is just another place to get vehicle data from, 6-12" away from the main screen
The adaptive cruise control I personally would use maybe only a few times a year on longer road trips
The 360 camera is nice and I have it on my other car, but I do not think it is a deal killer by far; the auto tilt of the side mirrors + the front and rear sensors do a great job by themselves of assisting when parking
Overall, to each his/her own, but unlike everyone else, I don't think you are missing out.
Enjoy your car!

Hey, personally I really do appreciate the 360 camera it really is brilliant and means we can go anywhere and park anywhere without worrying about bumping the car. If you have the choice, it's worth getting it
If you don't have the choice:
Assuming this isn't your first ever car? Remember all the cars before within fancy tech that did just fine? I've had some nice cars in the past and lived without sensors or cameras, I just had to learn the exact size of the car and learn new reference points. You have a reversing camera that's the main one to have!
Some reassurance perhaps, sometimes when moving the car the camera doesn't come on (like if parking by driving forwards) and the sensors kick in and do their thing, and they're great!
I wonder if you can add the 360 camera(s) as a retro fit, maybe worth googling around ?
For the advanced driving mode stuff this is great if you do motorway miles, but rarely used in the city, as previous replier says it depends on your driving.
What did you do in the end? Keep the car or take it back to switch to one with the extra features?
I toyed with getting a heated steering wheel, but it was the summer so seemed pointless, then received the car in winter and immediately felt stupid! The first day I was all mixed up feeling bad for not loving the car and didn't know what to do. I asked Volvo and they said they could switch the steering wheels but would cost about a grand... Just having the option made me feel a lot better and I said no thanks!
Do you have a digital copy of the full spec sheet of your car? I'm curious what else is on and not on with your model.
Lastly.... Remember whatever you have, you pay for! I added a lot of options which are great but many times thought later that I got too excited and wasted a few grand (not sure if that helps you, hope so).
P.s. for me that wheel mode thing is seldom used, you're not missing much here, nice to have but can live without for sure

I've had my 2020 XC60 T8 Momentum for a week, and I got the fancy options.
I'm not thrilled with the 360 camera or the backup camera. The low light performance is terrible and almost useless in the dark with a black driveway.
However, they are good in the daylight and they don't seem to get dirty.
I like the crosstraffic warning.
A love the adaptive cruise control. It is much more useful than standard cruise, where you have to keep changing the speed manually. It makes it possible to use the cruise control on roads I would never consider using it previously. The speed limit detection feature does not work very well in my area. It works by reading the speed limit signs with the camera. My commute is an 8 mile drive. There are three places where the car reads a speed limit sign on a side street and suddenly the car thinks the speed limit is 25 mph and beeps at me for speeding. I know I can turn that off.
The auto-steering is just fun. It works pretty well if the lines on the road are bright and clean. It was handy once when I was trying to take my coat off. I waited until no cars were coming and the road lines were clear, and I took my hands off the wheel for a few seconds.
