Brake failure - no more volvo's for me
This is my 6th Volvo and my last. I have owned a 760 GLE Turbodiesel, S40, S60, and 3 XC60,s The latest and last is a 2022 XC60 inscription. I have the car for 4 months and it has been in for repairs for 25% of the time. The first was problem with the TCAM I waited two weeks for a replacement. Brought the car in and was told it would take about 45 minutes, it took 4 hours. This week I was driving and received a warning light " Stop Safely - Brake Failure" I brought the car home and had the car towed to the nearest dealer and there it sits. The service manager said it might be looked at this week!!! Has anybody else had this problem with the brakes?
The mats n the car had to be replaced after the first MONTH. There are many things that are missing from the car that was on my 2019 XC60, which was never explained to me by the salesman. The quality of these are cars have gone done to the bottom of the pile, as far as I am concerned.
I will contacting Volvo, NA to see if they will rescind my lease, refund all of the monies that I have paid, as well as my deposit and trade in allowance on my other car. I know they won't but I will ask.
Meanwhile, as soon as this car is fixed, I will be going to the nearest Lexus dealer and look as the NX 350!
