I recently bought an xc 60 SE Lux Nav AWD D5 Geartronic (15 plate - GB).
Love it!
But, no 12v socket in the boot! would use it for coolbox.
Took off the side panel and can see the wire loom and spade attachment to fit one. There is an indent on the inside of the panel that I can feel with my hand, which is where the socket should go.
The socket arrives tomorrow for me to fit.
Very disappointed that I should have to do this myself. I thought that they came with a socket already fitted. Or is it just not in the UK?
All of the manuals seem to indicate that it should be fitted. Not got a clear answer from Volvo yet!

Any comments?
Is the fitting that easy? Or are there more electronics to consider?

I have an new XC60 SE LUX FWD ( MY15) and it doesn't have a power socket in the boot either.

although I don't need one as yet, it would have been nice !!

let us know if you found it easy to fit.
