Default Climate Control CCM dead after re-gassing A/C XC60 2009 3.0T

Hi

My climate control panel on my 2009 XC60 3.0 T6 (59,000 KM) is stopped working after re- gassing A/C...

Background: my A/C was getting no cooling and I went to a garage and they re- gassed A/C.

Now that the gas is in, my climate control panel is not working at all. Everything else works fine. The air into the cabin blows hot on the driver's side and cool on the passenger side, no defrost, no floor, no heat adjustment at all

I have checked fuses #32 #33 and couldn't find anything (maybe I missed something, but I don't think so).
Fuse #32: Compressor A/C, 15A
Fuse #33: Relay Coils, 5A, Relay Coil in relay for solenoid cluth A/C

Does anyone have suggestions on things I can do to revive my climate control.

Any suggestions, help, or similar experiences would greatly be appreciated. My apologies if this is already addressed on the forum, but I did search and I haven't found a solution...

Please help... Thanks

The following is info from my VIDA 2014D.

1. Perform Diagnostics as follows:
- Select the "DIAGNOSTICS" tab followed by the "DETAILS" tab.
- Click "UPDATE" button.
- Select the "FAULT TRACE" tab and get the following info.

2. Perform calibration of the CCM as follows:
- Select the "DIAGNOSTICS" tab followed by the "VEHICLE COMMUNICATION" tab.
- Click to highlight the "CCM" box.
- Select the "Advanced" tab.
- Double click "CCM".
- Click to highlight the "Calibrating the Climate Control Module(CCM)".
- Click "DESCRIPTION" button.
- Click "Yes" button if to continue with the calibration.
- Read and follow the instructions (to the right) carefully, Ignition on and click the VCT2000 symbol (to the left) to do calibration.
- Click the "Start" button (left on screen tool).
- Wait 30 seconds until status "Completed successful" is shown on the screen tool and get the following info.
- Click the "Hide" button to continue.
- Click the "Continue" button to proceed.
- Ignition off
( Same result if pulling fuses #32 #33 off to perform calibration of the CCM )

3. I had contacted the Head Technician of a Dealership in local and he has said that the re-gasing of the air conditioning should not have affected the CCM operation. They couldn’t say that a software update would fix the issue.
Also, I had contacted the other Dealership in local. They will charge $258.75 for the software reload.

not sure how a recharge on the system would cause a problem with the climate control short of a possible over-charge which is tripping the high pressure sensor.

Default Fixed with a second hand CCM Unit

4. Finally, I have contacted with a local car wrecking company and paid $195 for a second hand CCM from a 2010 Volvo XC60 3.0. Installed and Fixed, I am very happy.

Yeah in reading your post, it sounded like an electrical problem like a bad relay, sensor or control. I suspect their "re-gassing" was really charging you for hot air? Hope they didn't charge you too much for that "gas".

if they had to replace a pressure sensor, then the system would need to be evacuated and recharged... but then I'd expect that to be itemized on the repair bill. +1 on this sounding like an control unit problem all along...
