2014 xc60 t6
I want to purchase a new 2014 XC60, but need advice. I am new to Volvo, and I have been reading many reviews about the 2012 & 2013 XC60, and I have concerns about all the electrical problems that owners are posting. I really love all the features of the 2014, and want to include most all of the options, but it comes with a big price tag !
Several owners stated that the less options and electronics you have, the better off you are with the XC60. I can understand that the more you have loaded, the more that can go wrong, however, I have always heard that Volvo is not only the safest car on the road, but quality and reliability are tops as well.
I need some great advice from others that have the XC60 on options.
I am considering the following :
Platinum with Climate, Technology package, Bliss, Xenon headlights, perhaps the wood inlays.
Thanks for advice on this !

We purchased our 2014 XC60 T6 in January. Color is Rich Java with the Platinum pkg, Sport pck, Climate pkg, Blind Spot Information pkg, Metalic Paint and Urban Wood Inlays. Listed over $50K but dealer was hungry so paid much less! This vehicle is worth every penny for the safety, ride, appearance and personal satisfaction! I highly recommend
I have followed the XC60 for several years. Several close friends have them.
Both have told me they have had no issues and would defiantly buy again. The service was superb!
I recently have gone through a nightmare with a 2014 Grand Cherokee and was looking for a replacement. I have a Mercedes and Mini Cooper in the stable and recently traded the GC for a New 14 XC60 T6AWD Premium Plus.
It won out over a MB GLK, Audi and a Acura Suv. I thought Mercedes and Cooper service was good. What I have experienced with Volvo is as good.
My XC60 had the prep accessory cable and I had the Nav installed at delivery.
I would not be concerned with the amount of electronics you have on a vehicle. I think they have pretty much perfected the electronics. No Car company can say their vehicle is going to problem free. If there is an issue you have a really good service department behind you.
