Hello, new to forum, old to Volvo.

My son has an 2011 XC60 that someone backed into the front right fender and crinkled it.

Can anyone guide me to directions on how to remove/replace the fender please? I would appreciate some guidance on this.

I've looked around and they are readily available and I know I can get it painted locally so I just need to steps to remove/replace it the right way rather than the shade tree mechanic way which I resemble.

Anyone??? Anything??? Even if you don't have pictures, just let me know if it's possible for an average/above average backyard mechanic to attack this job.

BTW, I think the Volvo XC60 is a fantastic vehicle. I say this after owning probably about 7 or 8 past Volvo's from a '73 1800ES to a older P1800 to a even older 122 to a 245 and then a sport 245 then a 245 Turbo (which I added the Intercooler and lowered, one hell of a car) and now the XC60. I think I forgot one or two in there somewhere.
