Front Rotors/Brakes Replacment

Hi guys!

So, My mechanic did my rear rotors/brakes for me recently but he said he didn’t have the right tool to do my front. Apparently the 2012 Volvo XC60’s use different size tools for the front and rear? I was wondering if somebody could tell me what size tool I need to be able to take my FRONT BRAKE PADS off and get them replaced. I am a little annoyed that my mechanic didn’t have the tool and told me to find it online and bring my car back to him. PLEASE HELP!!!

I'll be candid here. Any "mechanic" that doesn't have a T-55 torx and also hex head driver would be questionable to me. Here's a video that albeit 29 minutes long, it shows you what is needed.

I see a lot of xc90 brake videos but here is a video of how to change the brake pads and rotors on specifically a 2012 xc60. Hope this helps!

I ended up bringing my car to a friends friend. He was able to do everything without any issues at all! And made it look so easy. My brake pads were definitely bad, lol. I’ll saverhe video for future reference. Thank you!
