My 2023 xc60 that I've had for 2 weeks seems to be having a maps/gps issue. The screen just froze with a message "acquiring GPS". Anyone have this issue and is there a way to fix it.

 

I was able to fix the issue myself with the help of the Volvo assistance button. The gentlemen told me to hold the botton at the bottom of the center screen until the Volvo logo appeared. That reboots everything. Worked like a charm.

 

I have the same problem with my 23', today after 6 months the navigation screens are blank on the dash and on the center stack. I called my dealer service department manager and he said Volvo is aware of the problem and working on an update to be released sometime in the future. He did not know if it was a service visit or over the air

 

Have you tried rebooting?

Home button: (the rectangular button immediately below the center infotainment screen)​

• Press and hold for ~20 seconds to reboot the infotainment system.

Front windshield defrost button:​

• Press and hold for ~20 seconds to reboot the TCAM unit. (LTE / GPS / WiFi / etc)

 

After 3 days everything reset itself; still waiting for an update for this issue.
