I am trying to replace the ns rear door lock mechanism after it stopped working, on xc60 d4 2014. I have found a few great guides for the front door where most steps work, so I now have the door card, door handle and all the internal bolts removed. I need to disconnect the window from the window motor so I can get the internal door card off and get to the lock mechanism. But can't work out how.
I was expecting to lower the window to the right height, remove the tabs on the internal door card to show either bolts or plastic tabs holding the window but can't find them (see pictures). Anyone know how to disconnect the window from the window motor?
Finally worked this out. To disconnect the rear window there is single middle tab that holds the glass in, this needs to be pushed out and then the window can be gently pushed up allowing the inner door card to be romoved.
Tab visible in hole can be pushed to release window.
