How to Remove A Tail Light from an 2019 XC60 T5 Momentum
Replaced a broken tail light on my 2019 XC60 T5 Momentum last weekend.
Couldn't find much in the way of tail light specific instructions for 2019 XC60's on youtube or elsewhere. The Volvo website does have some very good instructions for fitting Volvo accessories (like trailer hitches, pilot assist, etc), which got me most of the way.
It pretty much took me the equivalent of a whole afternoon to remove and replace the tail light. After having done it once, it would probably only take about an hour or maybe 90 minutes now that I know what to do.
Basically the entire adjacent interior wall trim and the bumper need to be removed before the tail light can be removed. This sounds pretty daunting, but actually isn't too bad if you have the right tools.
In case it is of help to anyone else, I have put together a set of instructions (including a couple of tips and traps) and attached them to this post.

I took the pictures at the end. Unfortunately they're not as prescriptive as they could have been.
I "borrowed" (i.e. copy/pasted) the far more professional looking computer produced images from several instructions that Volvo have produced for installing official Volvo accessories like hitches and pilot assist. These Volvo produced accessories instructions have some very useful advice on how to remove a lot of the car's interior trim.
The text included in my instructions is predominantly from my own observations.

The URL below takes you to the front end of the Australian version of Volvo's accessories website (there are similar webpages on the US and UK Volvo websites):
https://accessories.volvocars.com/en-au/
Select your model and then model year, engine type, transmission type, etc.
Click on "Apply" and you will be taken to a webpage that aggregates accessories under headings like "Safety & Security", Comfort & Convenience", etc.
Click on one of these tabs (e.g. "Pack & Load"). You will then get a full list of "Pack & Load" related accessories for your specific model car.
Click on one of the accessories (e.g. "Towbar hitch (AU)". You will then get a rundown of the "Towbar hitch (AU)" including part number, suboptions, etc.
Click on "Installation Instruction" and a webpage will open showing installation instructions.
There are installation instructions for most of the various factory accessories offered by Volvo.
