Hi guys,

I have a 2012 XC60 that isn't wanting to start today. It's giving me a message that says "immobilizer lock." I've looked online and it says it can be a number of things including a bad key fob. It has given me the message to replace my key fob batteries, which my boyfriend is out doing now. Has anyone had this same issue? And what was the final diagnosis to the problem? I'm trying to save myself a trip to Volvo (ughhhh.)

Update: I replaced the battery for my key fob and my car still isn't starting.

All the lights and anything powered works. When I push start, the car doesn't star. Same message about the immobilizer being locked. Anyone with tips or what to do next, please do!
