Default Interior space and charging pad

Hi Guys,
I'm considering buying a Volvo (XC60 or V60) and I'm not convinced by the interior practicality. I come from Audi and always owned VW group cars, where everything was very intuitive, well organised and interiors had plenty of space for small items.

My biggest doubt is the phone charging pad - it seems like it's been just thrown next to cup holders via some aftermarket MOD. For example already XC40 has this solved much better with a dedicated space under the central screen. I've been making approaches to buy a Volvo since 2015 and every 2-3 years (when I change car) I test it again and sadly - not much seems to be improving inside. But I wanted to ask you for your impressions and thoughts - how is the practicality of those cars - is there enough space for various items? For example where do you put a wallet/highway ticket? Is this wireless charging pad keeping phone in place (my iphone 13 Pro doesn't really even seem to fit well and is sticking out of the pad...). Are there any issues I should be warned about?
