Default Lost 50p in Centre Console! Rattling around - help?

Hi - I placed a 50p on the silver sliding cover within the centre console on my 2019 XC60. When I drove off it slid towards the front of the car and between the gap of the silver sliding panel and the fascia above. It’s now trapped somewhere immediately below and rattles when the car goes around corners. I would really like to get it out - in the photo I have attached if I remove the two screws images will the metal panel upon which an ash tray would sit pull out easily so I can see if the loose change is beneath? Any other ideas or recommendations would be most welcome.

If I remove the two screws imaged, is the plate easily removed so I can find a missing 50p piece which has slipped beneath?

same problem, I gues, since I have the same noise in my car. V90
I removed the screws, but I did not manage to remove the small piece of plastic. The sliding door seems to be attached to it

Default my solution - double sided sticky tape on a stick

I had the same issue today on my 2018 XC60... and managed to resolve it so I thought I'd share my solution.

The 50p coin had slipped inside and had got stuck so that it was preventing the sliding door from latching open. After fighting for ages with a cable-tie (zip tie) I managed to retrieve it with comparative and without damaging or dismantling the car.

The key was to have some double sided tape (or I used nano-grab tape - see crazy long link below) attached to the end of the cable tie, and then with the sticky side facing upwards I slid this under the cover in the closed position and jiggled it left to right till I heard the coin. Then I pushed down on the sliding cover to increase the size of the gap and then carefully pulled the cable tie out with the coin attached.

I hope that helps someone else!
