Hi all,

Volvo XC60 D4 2L Diesel MY 2012:

every time i switch the engine off and let the radio on, a "low bettery" message appear and the system is shutting down in 2 minutes.
but the car start normally after. so i think is a wrong message.

to be sure, i changed the battery, the problem still there.

the diagnostic tool reveal some voltage errors.
is any experiencing this problem ?

 

Same problem here 2012 XC60 T6.

 

Take a look at the "Alternator" thread. It has a video on how to reset the error message.

But you should also get the battery tested.

 

That is common if the wrong battery is installed in the gas engine cars. ( A size 48/h6 instead of a 92/t7) Not sure what is specified for the diesels. The battery monitor also needs to be reset when changing a battery, or the monitor can be bad. - Easiest reset is with VIDA or a compatible scan tool but is can be reset without (there's a utube out there)
