Multiple phones paired to Volvo On Call?
Hi all - I recently bought a 2019 XC60 and was curious if you can pair more than one phone to the car using the Volvo On Call app? The salesman I bought the car from seemed to indicate that you couldn't but browsing some info online I don't see where I'd be precluded from doing it. It seems like it'd be as easy as having the pin and the VIN and following the same pairing process you do the first time around. It's a gift for my wife and it's in storage until Christmas so I haven't had a chance to toy with it yet.
Thanks,

When I bought my Xc60 in July, my dealer asked if I had more than 1 phone to be paired for On Call so I assume it can be done. Also, If I remember correctly, I read something in the manual on the process for pairing more than 1 phone. YOu just need to install the on call app on each phone and then do the pairing.
When I was reading the manual last week before placing my order, I distinctly remember the reference that 2 phones are allowed and there is a way to switch between them once you’re in the vehicle. I just looked it up, check around page 511 in the Owner’s Manual if that is what you are trying to do. In summary:
- Open the phone tile.
- Tap Change or pull down Top view and tap Settings Communication Bluetooth Devices Add device. > A list of available Bluetooth devices will be displayed.
- Tap the name of the phone you would like to connect.
Good luck!
