Default New on the Forum. Looking for some pricing advise.

Hi Guys

I am new on the forum.
I am looking for a 2015 or 2016 T5 Premium w/ BLIS and Proximity package. MSRP around $44,500. In the past, I have gotten as much as 18% off on a car (Luxury sports car). I am looking to purchase around holiday time. I assume there will be big discounts. How much should I expect to pay?
Please let me know how much you guys pay

Thanks in advance.

best to use some of the web sites like KBB.COM and consumer reports which will publish stats on dealer invoice, median mark up etc. The best way to maximize your discount will be to buy a "left over" ie a 2015 still on the lot and not be so rigid on features or colors. You can use sites like autotrader to see inventory from dealers out of your region as well. If a dealer knows you are coming in from out of town, they are more willing to deal since the moment you walk out, they know you're not coming back. Good luck!

Oh another option is to buy certified pre-owned or executive demos that have low miles but still on the full factory warranty.

Haven't bought anything new recently & not currently working at a dealer, but TrueCar is the most accurate tool I am aware of at the moment to find out what dealers are actually selling for. Be careful about getting pricing info from someone on the east coast if you live in TX, CA, etc. because manufacturer pricing varies by geographical location. And buying from an area outside of your general location doesn't work because factory incentives are calculated by the address you put on the buyers order. Good luck!
