Hi All.

I need some help. I have paralysis from analysis. I have a 2018 XC60 with the OEM 235/55/19 Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires. I live in Western North Carolina so we get a bit of snow. I’m retired so I don’t need to drive in bad weather if I don’t have to. I want something that’s as good or better than the original Pirellis.. I’m not a spirited driver. I’ve been considering the PIRELLI SCORPION ALL SEASON PLUS 3. Also the Bridgeston Alenza Ultra. I was considering the Michelin CC but I’ve read they aren’t as smooth as the OEM tires. I’m open to other suggestions.

My brother has Michelin CC on his Mazda 3 and the noise is fine and they work great in the winter. I can see them not being as smooth as other tires because of the tread pattern, but that's where it will benefit you. I would get a grand touring all season tire instead of a performance all season. The GT tires will last a lot longer.

The only tires Ive used before are cooper RS3 (garbage), Bridgestone Blizzaks (winter tire, amazing), Bridgestone G force Comp (performance tire, I enjoyed them but they wear quick with spirited driving)

SUV tire needs will be different than sedan needs (which is what I drive) but hopefully this helped a little bit.

Did you end up with the Perrelli's, Just bought them myself today, Any feedback would be welcome.

 

I did buy them. I'm pretty happy. Much smoother than the OEM Pirellis. Quiet.
