Default Oil Level issue!

Hello, I own a 2018 Volvo XC60 D4. I started having an issue a couple of months ago where a warning message “engine oil level service required” came up in my drivers display, and upon checking my car status app, it showed that my oil was overfilled. I took it straight to the mechanic for him to have a look. He dumped the oil and refilled it to the correct level, it still said oil overfilled and the warning message was still coming up. He repeated the process and decided that he believed that I had a faulty oil level sensor. We ordered the part and it was replaced today, however upon completion and me returning to drive the car, the car status still says that the oil is overfilled however the warning is no longer appearing. I read in the manual that the car must be driven for approx 30km (20mi) then parked on an even surface for around 5 minutes for the oil level to update. I drove the car for approx 50km however this was not uninterrupted continuous driving, then the car was parked in my garage for a few hours. There has been no change to the oil level in car status. Has anybody had this issue before, or does anybody know a way to force the car to remeasure the oil level on demand? Thanks

I am interested t I know if you managed to find a solution?. Only my 2018 xc60 is showing the same overfilled oil. Garage i bought from had just done a change and said to have it drained and refilled.

Drove the car about 100 miles then noticed it when checking a few things.

TIA
