Thumbs down OTA still NOT Available for 2022 (late) B5 and Version 2.7

Just received email from Volvo that I have to bring my vehicle (2022 late XC60 B5 ) into the dealership to get Version 2.7 as it will NOT be available OTA. I am in the USA.

Again, Volvo has failed us in not delivering on a functionality that was promised and highlighted by the salesperson (and Volvo literature) when I purchased the vehicle. This is getting to quickly be rather annoying. My time is valuable and a trip to the dealer to get software updated is a real pain.

Volvo further has NOT provided any explanation as to why this is the case and what they intend to do to fix the ability of this vehicle to receive OTA updates. The customer deserves an explanation and some compensation for this major annoyance.

It's very annoying that I had to take my 2022 Volvo XC60 to the dealer twice for software updates during the first 12 months of ownership. I am in the USA. The main center console screen blacked-out completely and I couldn't get an appointment for 8 days which meant there's no heat in the car, in a very cold climate. Not fun since after about 10 minutes of driving, the windshield fogged-up and there's no defroster to clear it. Even when the dealer loaded software version 2.7, it does not work well. Upon starting the car, the software has to reboot completely (which takes time) and then a screen pops up which ways "Unavailable, for your safety, this activity is not available while driving" (the message goes away once the wheels on the car are no longer turning.) It's very annoying because, by the time the system is finally working, I've driven far down the road and I have already had to navigate without using the navigation screen or commands, and I haven't been able to turn on the heating/cooling system.
In addition, the radio functionality is very non-responsive, meaning that it is always "off" when the car starts. I select "radio" (once the software finally boots up), then select a radio station by tapping it two or three times, and if changing radio stations it takes 5-10 seconds to change to the new station after pressing the new station (and sometimes it never does change). In my previous Volvo, when I started the car the radio would come "on" if I had left it on. And the station would be on whatever station I last used.
Also, as mentioned in other posts, the salesperson and literature highlighted the beauty of the software when I purchased the vehicle, but it has disappointed on a daily basis. It would have been a deal-breaker had I know how poorly the software works in my 2022 Volvo XC60. Also, as mentioned in several posts, why can't I do the over-the-air updates, rather than the time-consuming job of making appointments and driving to the dealer frequently to get a software update.
