Playing media (MP3 / AVI) via USB
I just purchased a 2012 XC60 with High Performance Sound Multimedia option, as well as the Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE).
1) I struggle to consistently play MP3 from USB
Sometimes I get MP3 invalid, somtimes USB unreadable and some MP3 files just won't play.
Is there a specification (kbps) or filename requirements for MP3s?
2) What is the largest size USB that can be used?
Since it must be FAT32 I assume 32Gb. Anyone used 32Gb before?
3) I would like to play video files on the RSE system (from USB).
Has anyone has success with playing videos on the rear seat entertainment system from USB?
Seems like the system can play AVIs, but I have had no success. What are the requirements (resolution, framerate, encoding, etc) of the AVIs?
Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

So far I've learned the following:
1) The MP3s I could not play were all 320kbps; when I converted them to 160kbps I was able to play all of them.
2) I've managed to use a 32Gb USB
3) I've been able to play an AVI (720x406, higher resolution will not work, 30 fps) xvid encoded, but only on the front screen (when the car is not moving). It does not seem that the RSE system is connected to the USB found in the centre console.
