Hello,

Recently purchased a 2018 XC60 T8 Inscription (PHEV) at dealership and paid for the Polestar Engineering upgrade to be added later. I brought it in to the dealership this week for them to install and they are telling me it is NOT available for my car. I put my VIN# in the online Polestar tool and sure enough, it says this part not available. They are now going to refund me the cost.

Anyone know why? My dealership is baffled by it, and so I am. I'm super disappointed because I was really looking forward to this addition to the vehicle when I purchased it.

I have a 2019 XC 60 T8..and nope. cant have it done either! I have a hear few reasons, who knows what is the true answer. There is a lot of hype of polestar and much of it is just that. I almost bought a 2019 XC 60 T6 instead of the T8.....and it had polestar....it did chg gears a bit more smoothly...but really wasn't much of a difference......if u look at the posted 0-60 times.....polestar is like 0.1 sec faster.......
