Polestar Performance Upgrade Issues
Decided to give myself a birthday present in a form of a Polestar Performance Upgrade.
The car was rejecting dealer's software. Took them 3 days to figure out that it is already upgraded sometime in 2012.
The only problem is Carfax has no indication of Polestar being installed, and I don't have an exterior badge.
The question is if I even have the upgrade or not... LOL
I'm the 4th owner.
Context: 2012 XC60 T6 R-Design AWD

Hehe, that'd have been spectacular if the update went through, and they'd charged me for it...
I would imagine the on-board software to have some sort of a version number, or other indicator of what's installed.

I don't believe so. When you build & price on Volvo's website, if you start with an R-Design the Polestar is still listed as an option.
