Default Remote Start Key Fob Malfunction

I have a 2017 XC60, had a remote start installed by Volvo one year ago. A few months ago the fob buttons stopped working, I could still use the key fob and unlock/lock the car via the door buttons and start the car without having to insert the key fob, I just cannot physically push the buttons on the fob to unlock/lock the car. This means I cannot use the remote start. I changed the batteries and still no luck. I called Volvo and they suggested I order a new diaphragm for the key fob. I replaced the diaphragm with the new one and still no luck. This made me try my two other key fobs and they are doing the same thing. Could this be caused by a bad fuse or something?

On my 2015 xc70 - the remote range reduced to there was no range. Lock and unlock on the remote did not work. The antenna in the headliner was bad. New antenna, remote now locks and unlocks - and since the remote start sequence is lock then puddle light switch - my remote start worked again also. 30659715 - the antenna is mounted in the middle of the car, under the headliner. Headliner has to be dropped from the rear to get to it. Took me about 45 minutes to replace.
