2017 XC60, 46K miles

Here's another problem that just "popped up". Anyone else have this issue?

Out of nowhere, our Sirius radio just stopped working. Stuck in constant "updating channels" mode. Completely troubleshot with Sirius, and they said it has to be the hardware (not their problem).
Took it to Volvo, and they say I need to replace the entire unit at $1100! How can a radio fail after such little vehicle usage (low mileage)?!
I'm starting to question the software of the vehicle. Weird stuff happens all the time...rear-view camera remaining engaged while driving, phone calls not muting the radio when using bluetooth, HVAC air flow randomly not working properly, side mirrors randomly not returning to position when getting in car, car heat seats remaining on when they are turned off, and now the satellite radio problem.

Can all this be related to a bad software load or something?
Frustrating that all these issues fall on me when it seems to clearly be a design/construction flaw.

Dealer diagnosed the faulty satellite radio as due to a faulty RDAR unit that needs replacing. What?!?! Fails after just 45K miles of driving and it's on me to replace?

Love the Volvo driving experience...1st time Volvo owner...but slowly becoming a last-time owner with this vehicle.

 

Reach out to Volvo USA in New Jersey. They're usually good about helping with repairs on things that should not have failed.
