Hello all! I've had my new 2020 XC60 for approximately 6 months with 4500 miles on it. I'm receiving a reminder from my onboard computer that a service is needed. I thought the 1st service was started at 10,000 miles or 1 year from purchase? The closest Volvo service area is 3.5 hours away in Seattle as I live in SE Washington. I would prefer not to drive through the Snoqualmie pass where it snows by the feet at times.

 

Maybe the service reminder was not reset at time of sale. You are correct, it is 10k miles or 1 year.

 

Same thing whern I bought my 2019 XC60.....dealer just forgot to "zero" it. If u look on youtube, you can find how to reset it

 

Same thing happened to me....after 6 months I started to get the reminder....dealer is supposed to initialize the reminder at the time of sale/lease but did not.

 

Thank you all. I called and they that service was in a year or 10,000 miles whichever comes first.
