Software 2.9 and 2.10
and they told me same thing .I want the update as my car starts without the infotainment system starting and Volvo says this should fix it.I have 2.7 at this time.
To get the dealer to do update the software it is a 5hour round trip to drive to my nearest dealer.
I have a xc60 R-Design 2022 and I have not received either 2.9 or 2.10 .I also live in Australia. Contacted Volvo and they told me it would come and wait ,rang dealer in Brisbane

I totally agree with you. It doesn’t make any sense that a software upgrade isn’t rolled out everywhere at the same time. I wonder is the Australian version of 2.9 and 2.10 any different to the rest of the world?? There are several small enhancements that Volvo could do rather easily to improve functionality. I’ll get a list together but in the meantime I’ll be waiting for the upgrades.
Here in the USA I have never heard of the infotainment system problem that you speak of. I have had my '23 Volvo XC60 B5 for about 3 months and have done the 2.9 and I believe the 2.10 updates. What I don't understand is why you only have 2.7 at this time? There has been 3 updates since. Why Volvo doesn't make updates streamline across the Globe I cannot figure out, especially if the updates are for ALL cars. The only changes with 2.9 I really noticed were you can switch from Auto-Pilot to Lane Assist on the left steering wheel button. They also put a new selection in settings were you can turn off/on your side view mirrors from folding in when car is locked. One problem I wish they would fix is displaying what radio or satellite station you have selected...when you select it. If you are not on the home page and you use the steering wheel button to change stations, there is no indication of what station you just selected. Why not put it in the HUD or driver's display, like other car manufacturers? Anyway, I wish Volvo would get ahead of all these little things that Volvo used to have before Google or just what other brands have. Good Luck
and only got basic system and found out cv60 basic sound does not have control to adjust fade or balance. It also had paddles and as I drive car like a manual I would have like to have these. I had to wait 7-8months for new xc60 to come to Australia and thought the google system would be worth it.
How wrong was I . All have a good day.
I have now had 2.10 software installed, OTA, and so far no problems. Hurray. Now I’m looking into the best price and efficient EV wall charger in Australia so I can integrate my solar energy and use less from the grid. Any suggestions or recommendations of good units?
