Default Transmission problems?

We have a 2012 xc60 with the 3.2L. It has 36,000 miles on it. When stopping after it has warmed up after awhile. It has a sharp jerk from stop after taking your foot off the brake and stepping on the gas. Any feedback greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hankbaits

I’m having a similar issue with my 2012 S60 T5. But it seems fine if I place the car in neutral while stopping, and then go to “Drive” to move again

My mechanic says it’s nothing to worry about. You could try changing the fluid or re-programming the TCM, but placing transmission in Neutral and then manually shifting into Drive when the light turns green is a good solution.
