The trip computer TA does not reset even after the vehicle has been off overnight (The manual says TA should reset after 4-6 hours of vehicle non use). I can reset the TM computer but not TA. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions???

 

What model year is your XC60? This is a known problem on the 2022 models. I believe one of the software updates fixes this problem along with the plethura of other problems.

 

It is a 2022 (? late, whatever late means) XC60 Inscription B5 purchased in early July.

Is the software you refer to part of the Android Auto OS or something else ?

 

The software I am referring to is the system software that operates the entertainment system, navigation, audio, phone, etc. (i.e. everything on the centre screen and the dashboard. The software on 2021 and older cars is called Sensus. On the 2022 model Volvo switched from Sensus to the Google operating system. I believe the most current version is 2.2 and it eliminated most problems that people were having. I think there is somewhere on your centre screen where you can find out the version no. that is installed. On my 2021 XC60 the Trip computer TA does reset after 4 hours of no driving.

 

The TA feature on the 2022s definitely doesn't work as described in the owner's manual. I think I've seen it stick for up to 3 or 4 days.
