Default An unidentified part in my xc60


Does anyone know what this part is? I found it not attached to anything in the battery compartment (when I changed the battery... ) Appreciated. 2010 xc60 r-design

It's for something your car is not equipped with. Probably the battery monitor sensor.

Ah-ha, then that would also explain why I got no warning that the battery was problematic. Thanks for your answer. I was worried someone forgot to plug it in somewhere. (My battery was four years old, so it made sense to die.)
