Default Volvo xc60 2.4D4 2014 coolant issue

Just bought a “new” car. Changed all the belts and oils, and filters and everything seemed to be fine. Till the moment i saw an “!” mark in my dash for half a second which warned about low coolant level. Then I stoped, checked the level and it was full, literally - full till the full mark. Problem started when my friend took a seat and reved the engine and I stand by the hood, and saw this. https://failiem.lv/u/pndesgmr My gut says that it’s not the best thing to see and there might be a damage for the engine itself, any ideas? Hope someone will have any idea what could case this and do I need to get ready to get a new engine?
Car specs: volvo xc60, D4 awd (133kW), manual transmision, 2014 year.

We had a similar issue with our xc60 2014... we were driving the car and it started to warn us of a overheating issue... we stopped and popped the hood. the coolant was in acceptable range when we looked at it.. we waited a little while then started the car and drove home without any problems.... the next morning, when the engine was cool we noticed that the coolant was a little lower than yesterday but still in the safe zone... we drove it for a week and no issues then it happened again... we ended up finding that the lower hose to the coolant started to a a small crack in the line.. just a drop here or there.. I was told by the volov dealership that the sensors picked up the change in the pressure and immediately throws the warning to make you pull over and look. They replaced the hose and I mean the crack was as big as a ball point pen head. However it was enough for the vehicle to know that the hose was failing and it picked up the change in the pressure from the coolant system. so check the hose under the coolant revivor. We used a white cotton napkin to find where the coolant leak was coming from by dapping the hose. Cost about 120 to fix and replace at the dealership... 6 months now and no issues.
hope this helps

A tiny, tiny leak will affect overall pressure and sensors on all newer cars will see it and report a problem.

Usually, it's just a hose replacement.
