I have 2017 Volvo XC60 T5 about 80,000Km. When I was driving two days ago, I listen the sound is coming from the front left wheel when it reached a speed above 50kph. I took the dealer and the delar said the noise is coming from the front wheel bearing. The dealer charged me $850.
I had other cars BMW X5 about 178,000 km never required to change the wheel bearing. I had another car AUDI Q5, changed the wheel bearing at 165,000 km.
From my experience, Volvo has very poor quality wheel bearing. Before buy Volvo please think once more. I will say my friends no-go with VOLVO.
If you have any questions, you can call me at 778-833-4930.
Thanks.

OK - I will never consider a Volvo again due to your advice. Do you have a suggestion what brand to buy? What comment board to join for good advice like yours?

Neither will I, especially with your compelling evidence that consists of comparing your one single experience with one single experience with a totally different car and then one single experience with another totally different car.
I see Here your Audi had a coil problem. Did your Volvo? Audi must be garbage as well.
Let me know when you find a car that never had anything ever need replacement.

my two cents is that Volvo, like Audi, Mercedes, BMW and about every other brand buy many components from common suppliers so to suggest Volvo bearings wear out faster than another brand is off base. All parts have a mortality rate where a very small percentage can fail. Even on a Toyota.
