WiFi wont show or connect to home network 2022 XC60 Inscription B5
The WiFi in my 2022 XC60 Inscription B5 will not show my home wireless network. It is a Comcast wireless network with very strong signal strength in the garage where the vehicle is parked. Iphone and Ipad have no problem connecting to the network. This is a 2.4 and 5 GHz network. Is anyone aware of something blocking the networks and how to fix ?
Thanks
Thanks
Have had the same issue, all my devices can see my home WiFi but for some reason the XC60 doesn't show any networks, even when the car is literally 3 feet from the router. I can see 10+ networks from my phone but the XC60 is blank...
I've had a YM2023 for 3 weeks. When i took delivery ot would connwct to my home wifi but say no internet. This seemed to resolve itself. I have now purchaswd a Hauwaai mobile router for wofo in the car. All phones can see the WIFI network but not the car. If i setup a guest network on the router it can see the network and connect. It was working fine but all of a sudden it connects but days no Internet. They make a car that requires internet for everything and then access to it doesnt work. Big fail.
Same here I could connec tto the guest network but not to the main one with a netgear orbi router. i have changed my router and can't find the home wifi, others well.
* Must have encryption - I suggest WPA2-AES at a minimum (at this stage I haven't tried more updated encryption)
* Set mode to b,g,n - I haven't tried AC because I simply cannot be bothered
* WPS must be off - if it is not, you will NOT see the network from the car.
cheers,
Craig
Hey, it's annoying when your iPhone doesn't automatically connect to your Wi-Fi, right? Feels like you're always having to manually join. Here's the deal, a few things might be causing this:-
Check your Wi-Fi router settings:- Make sure your router is broadcasting its Wi-Fi signal properly. Sometimes you might need to adjust the settings or even restart your router.
Forget and rejoin the network:- Go into your iPhone's Wi-Fi settings, "forget" the network, and then try rejoining it. This can sometimes refresh the connection.
Check your iPhone's settings:- Make sure Wi-Fi Assist is enabled. This setting allows your iPhone to switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data to ensure the best possible connection.
Check for software updates:- Outdated software can sometimes cause compatibility issues with Wi-Fi networks.
If the problem persists after trying these solution, you can follow for more details instruction below.
