I'm having a heckuva time finding replacement wiper blades. Trico's site lists either the 10-260/10-190, 34-260/34-190, or the 90-260/90-190 as OEM fits. No one seems to carry these blades, however. Even the Volvo parts store online doesn't recognize the VIN I provide (other sites do.) Anyonoe have luck somewhere else?

You can buy the front refills from Volvo for about $22 instead of the complete blade.

I have been having a whale of a time with OEM front wipers jumping across the windshield and when they do not chatter across the windshield the return wipe is not clean leaving poor visibility. I have had 3 new sets on the car since I bought it in September 2022. I do not know who makes Volvos blades, but they need to source another supplier.

I also have been hunting for an aftermarket blade. Found the Trico 25-260 & 25-190 blades at Oreilly but they do not fit my B5 Ultimate as the washer nipple does not fit up into the blade mounting adapter. I took them back and the guys at Oreilly indicated that I will have to stick with the OEM blades from Volvo. They looked at the Bosch adapter and it also will not accept the washer nipple.

I am strongly considering buying at set of Trico or Bosch blades and taking the rubber out of them and putting in the Volvo wiper blade.

If anyone knows of an aftermarket blade that will fit the B5 w/o heated blades, please let me know.

Usually that's caused by the angle the blade is touching the windshield. Rain x can/will make the chatter happen even if the blade angle is correct.

 

I don't think replacing the rubber with an aftermarket blade will work. Volvo's replacement blades have a hard piece of plastic on the left side that appears to slip into the wiper housing.

+1 on dealer web stores. I'd start by searching a dealer store (Tasca Parts is my go to - best prices and here in New England) For very new cars (ie 2023s) try searching for the 2022 part numbers if you don't see anything on the web site. Finally, you can pick up the phone and call the store to verify the application. The dealers have the catalog - it just may not be updated on their web site yet. All you really need is the part number then google as Hoonk suggested.

 

I ordered, received and installed a set of front wiper blade refills from a Volvo dealer on eBay. Part number 31490722 as suggested @ $30 + tax shipped. Very easy to install and if one is careful to not break the release tab on the end cap, it can be reused. Have not had any rain here to see if they work better yet.

 

I concur that one needs to be cautious when buying parts. Oreilly, for example showed Trico blades that would fit my 2023 XC60, but they did not nor do the Bosch blades fit, due to the sprayer hose nozzle in the arm at the point of attachment for the blade. The Volvo refills that I just got and installed were from a Volvo dealer in AZ and they worked as they should yesterday in a rainstorm - no chatter and a clean wipe both ways.
