I need to change the blades on my XC60 … but I’m having great difficulty finding replacements either at my local motor factors or on-line.
The problem seems to be the fact that they are “heated” ones, whereas “non-heated” blades seem to be readily available.
Does anyone know if the blades are interchangeable?

Have you looked for refills from your local Volvo dealer?

 

I’m confused between the various terms used when I google these parts … ‘blades’ … ‘arms’ … ‘inserts’ … ‘wipers’ … ‘rubbers’ … ‘refills’ … … … … can someone explain the the difference please ???

"Inserts" or "refills" or "rubbers" (i guess) are available for your car. (As shown above) For earlier cars you would have to purchase complete "blades" or "wipers", because the "refills" were not sold by themselves from Volvo. The complete wiper blades attach to the "arms".
